Why thermal insulation plasters are the best choice

What makes HASIT lime thermal insulation plasters stand out

Efficient insulation on a natural basis

HASIT lime thermal insulation plasters offer a sustainable solution for the efficient thermal insulation of buildings. These advanced render systems combine the natural benefits of lime with modern insulating properties, creating a durable and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional insulating materials.

Find out why thermal insulation plasters are the ideal choice for your building project - from their sustainability and durability to their versatility in the design of modern and historic buildings.

Homogeneous and seamless surface

Thermal insulation plasters create a seamless surface that minimises the risk of thermal bridges. ETICS with insulation boards, on the other hand, can create joints that represent weak points for heat loss and moisture ingress.

Better moisture regulation

Our lime thermal insulation plasters are mineral and open to diffusion. They allow water vapour to diffuse through the plaster layer, which improves moisture regulation in the masonry and prevents mould growth.

  • Easier application for complex geometries

Thermal insulation plasters can be applied effortlessly to complex façades and a wide variety of shapes. This makes them ideal for listed buildings and modern architecture where flexibility in design is required.

  • Durability and low maintenance

Thanks to their monolithic structure, thermal insulation plasters are highly resistant to mechanical damage and weathering.

  • Aesthetic flexibility

Thermal insulation plasters offer a wide range of surface textures and colours, allowing building owners and architects to design individual façades. This freedom enables harmonious integration into existing structures and historic buildings.

  • Improved fire safety

Our mineral thermal insulation plasters are non-combustible and therefore offer greater fire safety than ETICS, which often use combustible materials such as polystyrene.

  • Reduction in construction time and costs

In some cases, thermal insulation plasters can be applied more quickly and cost-effectively, as fewer work steps and materials are required.

  • Sustainability

Thermal insulation plasters are made from natural materials and contribute to sustainable construction by reducing the ecological footprint. They promote a healthy indoor climate and help to utilise energy efficiently

  • Energy saving

Thanks to their outstanding insulating properties, thermal insulation plasters significantly reduce heating requirements, reduce heat loss and increase the energy efficiency of the building.

  • Mould prevention

The seamless insulation layers and the high surface temperature prevent mould growth, while the use of NHL 5 lime creates a mould-repellent environment.

  • Monument protection and historic buildings

Thermal insulation plasters are an ideal solution for the energy-efficient refurbishment of listed buildings without compromising the external appearance.

  • Environmentally friendly

Thanks to their natural composition, our mineral thermal insulation plasters are environmentally friendly and help to reduce the carbon footprint.

Gain space with lime thermal insulation plaster:

More space, same insulation performance

A decisive advantage of HASIT lime thermal insulation plasters is the space gain. Thanks to the innovative, slim design, wall thicknesses can be significantly reduced without compromising the insulation performance. A good example illustrates this: A conventional wall thickness of 51 cm can be reduced to just 40 cm, while the insulation performance remains the same. How is this possible?

Without aerogel insulating plaster:

When using a conventional lightweight base render with a render layer of 2 cm, a wall thickness of 49 cm is required. This results in a total wall thickness of 51 cm. In our example, this results in a living area of 120 m².

A wall with aerogel insulating plasters:

In comparison, the use of the innovative aerogel insulating plaster enables a significantly thinner wall thickness. With a plaster layer of 3.5 cm, the remaining wall thickness can be reduced to 36.5 cm, resulting in a total wall thickness of just 40 cm - a saving of 11 cm. This increases the living space to 123.52 m² without changing the external dimensions of the building. This means a space gain of 3.52 m² - which is almost equivalent to an additional room.

Conclusion: With HASIT lime thermal insulation plaster, you not only enjoy excellent insulation values, but also optimum space utilisation - without compromising on energy efficiency or sustainability.
